Friable rock, running water, cavities and unstable ground - all of them conditions that cause unsafe working conditions and have the potential to hold up or even prevent tunnel progress.

These problems are effectively addressed by injecting resins into the broken ground to consolidate it and seal off water and gas flows.

Minova RSA’s resin injection systems include 1 & 2 Component polyurethane and silicate injection resins and the high-pressure pumping equipment. (See Polyurethane Risk Assessment)

The resins are easy to inject with adjustable setting times and high penetration capability.

Minova RSA supplies the complete suite of materials and equipment for resin injection. This includes the chemicals as well as the pumps, hoses, packers and hollow injection bolts.
