Products - Resin Rockbolting Timer

Resin rockbolting requires accurate control of spinning and holding times during installation of the bolts. Minova - SA's leading supplier of resin capsules - has developed a timer to help the rockbolting operators achieve these times exactly. It is a portable unit, housed in a rugged stainless steel case, with just one control button and two indicator lights. The operator presses the button as he starts the bolt installation and then follows the light indications for the times to spin, hold and tighten the bolt.

The spin and hold times are set by the Rock Engineer, using a plug-in programming unit. The same plug is used for recharging the internal battery, in the way as a cap lamp. The timer comes with a clip to fit onto a miner's belt or onto the control frame of Minova's Autorock drill rig.
